Duffryn Dexters get their name from the farm they live on here in South Wales, "Duffryn" means valley, or little valley.

The herd was started after my dairy herd was sold and I missed them terribly it also satisfied a childhood fantasy of owning these lovely little cows.

"The Duffryns" began after meeting Beryl Rutherford at her farm in Devon, walking around her land and seeing her stunning cattle.

The famous Woodmagic Herd was really something and I am doing my best to breed my small herd in the way that Beryl would appreciate. She taught me a great deal in the few years that I knew her and allowed me to purchase some very nice cattle when I started my herd.
